Black History Month Black Business Honoree: Spacebar Cafe!

Congratulations Frank Moody and Spacebar Café on being selected as my Black History Month Business honoree! An information technology specialist, Spacebar’s owner Frank Moody combined his computer career with a longtime dream of opening a cafe. He named it after the space bar on a keyboard, preceding it with the Internet’s reliance of the “at” symbol. Spacebar Café is locally owned and proudly operated by veterans. Frank Moody is a retired Air Force master sergeant. In addition to food offerings, Spacebar also serves as a community venue for Comedy shows, Open Mic nights, and space rental.

Spacebar was acknowledged at the California Legislative Black Caucus and the California Black Chamber of Commerce Annual Black Business Brunch this month!
