Assemblymember Akilah Weber, M.D., Introduces Legislation to Protect Patients and the Sanctity of the Physician-Patient Relationship

SACRAMENTO, CA— Assemblymember Akilah Weber, M.D., (D-La Mesa) was joined by Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi (D-Torrance) and the California Medical Association (CMA) in introducing AB 1636, a bill that ensures physicians and surgeons who have committed sexual misconduct with a patient or client are prohibited from acquiring or reinstating their license.
