Assemblymembers Atkins, Gonzalez & Weber Saving Taxpayer Dollars

Wednesday, January 15, 2014

(San Diego) -- California State Assembly Majority Leader Toni Atkins (D-San Diego), along with Assemblymember Shirley N. Weber (D-San Diego) and Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez (D-San Diego) moved their offices into the centrally located San Diego State Building on Front Street. The centrally located office building is close to all major public transportation lines and is a "one-stop-shop" for state services. The move to the downtown location will save taxpayers about $100,000 a year. Speaker John A. Pérez (D-Los Angeles) also has an office in the San Diego State Building.
