2022 California Nonprofit of the Year

The California Association of Nonprofits is a statewide alliance of over 10,000 members that brings nonprofits together to advocate for the communities they serve. CalNonprofits hosts an annual event in Sacramento to honor nonprofits across the state. I am delighted that Dreams for Change was selected as the 79th Assembly District's 2022 Nonprofit of the Year.

Dreams for Change was founded in May 2009 by Dr. Teresa Smith, who provide Safe Parking Programs for San Diego residents living in their vehicles, as well as various resources such as free tax preparation, food services, employment and education support, income stabilization and more. We are honored to recognize Dreams for Change as the 79th Assembly District's Nonprofit of the Year, and share their services with you!
