The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically affected the outlook of California’s non-profit sector. Last month, I hosted a non-profit town hall which provided an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns about the lack of resources offered to you. As promised, I will be hosting a second non-profit town hall. This event will be held in conjunction with The Nonprofit Institute of the University of San Diego.

Our objective is to continue the discussion of challenges related to your non-profit due to COVID-19 and to provide resources from the following entities: California Bank and Trust, California Coast Credit Union, CDC Small Business Finance, San Diego Small Business Development Center, and The San Diego Foundation, which will each have a designated panelist.

Please join me Friday, May 29, at 12:00 p.m., as we connect your non-profits to resources and key information. If you are able to participate, please RSVP HERE.

This Thursday, I am hosting a livestream Townhall to hear and address your concerns as well as the responses I received over the past week. The following school districts will assist me in this effort.
