Nominations Now Open

In October, we celebrate both National Hispanic-American Heritage Month (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15) and Filipino-American Heritage Month (Month of October).

Join me on Thursday, Oct. 11 as we honor the outstanding women and men from these communities with an evening of food, music and words from inspiring leaders. Help us ensure all individuals are represented throughout the district are honored for their contributions Hispanic/Latino Americans and Filipino-Americans make to our community.

Annual Back-to-School Kick-Off & Community Health Fair

The community is welcome to bring family and friends to this free fun-filled event, which will include a wide variety of health screenings, educational activities and a back-to-school backpack giveaway. Attendees will learn about programs and resources to help improve their health and quality of life. This event is free and open to the public.

Screenings Include: Dental, Vision, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, HIV, Glucose

Activities Include: Backpack Giveaway, School Supplies, Kids’ Games, Face Painting, Food Trucks
