COVID-19 Emergency Rental Relief Program Ending

Program Ends on March 31

Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2022, to pay unpaid rent and/or utilities owed up to March 31, 2022. Once an application has been successfully processed, both the landlord and renter will be notified of the next steps. Please note that awards are subject to funding availability.

In San Diego County, multiple jurisdictions administer the rental relief programs depending on where you live. Residents of the City of San Diego and residents of the City of Chula Vista have their own separate program and application process. All other residents in the region can apply to the program administered by the County of San Diego. Specifically, the County administers the rental relief program for the following areas: the unincorporated areas of San Diego and the cities of: Carlsbad, Coronado, Del Mar, El Cajon, Encinitas, Escondido, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, National City, Oceanside, Poway, San Marcos, Santee, Solana Beach, and Vista.
